DARIEN, Conn. – The Darien Farmers Market will open for the season May 29 and will be open on all subsequent Wednesdays through Dec. 18, according to organizers.
Hours for the market will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For 2013, it will move from the municipal parking lot off Mechanic Street to the parking lot of the Goodwives Shopping Center, 25 Old Kings Highway N.
The Darien Farmers Market has been voted one of the best in Fairfield County by the readers of Moffley Publications magazines, according to organizers.
Among the Connecticut farms expected to participate this year is Newgate Farms of East Granby.
