Darien High Graduate Earns Scholarship, Exhibits Artwork At Library

DARIEN, Conn. -- Ella Moore, a recent Darien High School graduate and recipient of the 2016 Ginny Wright Scholarship from the Darien Arts Center, is exhibiting her artwork at the Darien Library.

Her work will be on exhibit from Thursday, July 7, to Saturday, July 16.

The Ginny Wright Scholarship is given annually in memory of Virginia Wright to a Darien High School senior who plans to continue his or her study of art in college. 

Moore will be attending the Rhode Island School of Design in the fall. 

Founded in 1975, the Darien Arts Center is a nonprofit organization that provides visual and performing arts programs and events for the community. The DAC offers educational programs in Dance, Visual Arts, Music and Theatre, and special events and live theatre performances by DAC Stage.
