The conservancy will plant trees at the Town Hall baseball field, Pear Tree Beach and other locations in which trees fell due to storms, disease, and construction. Funds for the trees became available through donations to the nonprofit agency.
The new trees will add to shade, drainage, help create a healthy ecosystem for future generations and add to the aesthetic quality of the town.
Tree Conservancy of Darien is dedicated to preserving and enhancing the tree and forest resources of Darien for the benefit of the community.
