The exhibit is on view at the Fairfield Museum until July 19.

Eisemann's entry was chosen from more than 800 submissions from Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Her piece "catscan" is an image of her cat Jasmine sitting on a scanner and is inspired by the work of William Wegman.

For her piece, Eisemann took multiple scans of Jasmine and combined them in Photoshop to create a high-contrast, detailed image. Her photography career began at the University of Hartford, where she worked at the nearby CBS office. Eisemann moved onto the feature film business as an assistant director. She will receive a 10-day exhibition this fall at Southport Galleries.

Hannah, 16, took her winning photograph "American Summer" at Block Island. The New Canaan High School student has taken two photography courses and enjoys capturing movement and emotion in the interactions of people in candid shots. She will receive a professional review with Howard Schatz, IMAGES featured photographer and Juried Show judge.

Schatz has more than 20 photography books and his works have been featured in Vanity Fair, Time, Sports Illustrated and more. His exhibition Howard Schatz: 25 Years of Photographs is on view until Aug. 31 at the Fairfield Museum. He will be the guest speaker at the Museum After Dark and Artist Reception from 6-8 p.m. July 16. The reception is free for members and there is a $5 suggest donation for non-members. Schatz will sign books and discuss his work at the reception.
