Junior League's Winterfair Offers Christmas Shopping In Darien

DARIEN, Conn. -- More than 45 vendors will showcase their works to the public at the Junior League of Stamford-Norwalk Winterfair 2013 on Saturday, Dec. 7 in Darien. 

The 35th annual Winterfair Gift Market comes to the Darien Community Association from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Parking for the event is free at the Darien Community Association, 274 Middlesex Road in Darien.

Vendors are set to display housewares, jewelry, pet themed products, gifts, clothing and accessories during the fair. The event attracted more than 500 shoppers in 2012, representatives said. 

Santa will be on-hand from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for photo opportunities. Guests can also visit the on-site café for lunch or snacks and beverages.

Junior League President Susan Bridges will join other league members to talk to prospective members and guests interested in learning more about the organization’s outreach programs, representatives said. 

Admission to the fair is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and free for children under 12.
