Susan Marks Seeks Re-Election To Darien Board Of Selectmen

DARIEN, Conn. -- Susan Marks, a volunteer in Darien for more than 20 years and Board of Selectmen incumbent, will be a petitioning candidate at the upcoming Republican Party caucus on Monday.

Marks has been active within the Republican Party, school community and town organizations. She has chaired four winning candidate campaigns, co-chaired Darien public school and Windward committees for two years, was a panel leader for the Community Fund Allocation committee for one year, and chaired the tennis program for Newfield Swim and Tennis Club for two years.

She has been a resident of Darien for 26 years. She has also served on the Representative Town Meeting for two years, served on the Darien Senior Housing Initiative for two years and been a board member for Methodist Family Center Preschool for 14 years.

The Republican caucus will begin at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall Auditorium. Only registered Republicans may participate in the caucus. Lines are expected, so it is recommended that you arrive before 7 p.m. A photo ID is required. 

Residents who are not registered voters or are unaffiliated voters who wish to change their party enrollment may participate in the caucus by downloading and returning the form found here by noon on Friday, July 24.

Forms should be returned to the Registrar of Voters, Darien Town Hall Room 106, 2 Renshaw Road.
