The hockey players sold cookies and treats to raise money to help the boys. Darien Pizza & Grill, the restaurant inside Darien Ice Rink, donated 20 percent of its proceeds that day to support the Clarks.

Six years ago, the twins were diagnosed with a debilitating form of epilepsy called Dravet syndrome. Every day, they suffer multiple seizures and take numerous medications to manage their symptoms. One of the twins has also been diagnosed with autism.
Doctors have recommended that the family invest in a service dog to help with seizure alert, as well as to provide safety and companionship. For more information or to donate visit the Clark benefit website.
