The BigGER Rig Gig, which took place at the Ox Ridge Hunt Club in Darien, drew more than 400 guests.

Person-to-Person’s serves more than 24,500 individuals in need in Darien and the neighboring communities.

The organization’s emergency assistance program includes food pantries, a clothing center, layettes for newborns and emergency financial assistance for security deposits, rents, utilities and more.

Guests sampled gourmet fare and enjoyed dancing, lawn games and a raffle.

The fundraiser’s lead sponsors were Ring’s End and the Stamford Hospital Foundation. Key sponsors included Callari Auto Group, Evolution Air, and Ox Ridge Hunt Club.

Dozens of local and national businesses also contributed to the fundraiser, the organization said.

The event, now in its third year, has continued to grow, said Patty Deery, the organization’s co-president.

Crediting the “hard work” of the group’s fundraiser committee and the support of sponsors and the community, Deery said this year’s BigGER Rig Gig exceeded expectations.
