The fundraising contest garnered almost 400 entries in seven categories, with submissions from all ages.

Contestants were not required to live in Darien, and photos were submitted online from as far away as California, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Washington D.C., in addition to Connecticut.

Nationally published professional photographer Alix Martinez of Darien judged the contest, a fundraiser.
All photo entries were showcased in a slideshow on the DAC Weatherstone Studio’s 184” HD movie screen at an Award and Reveal Reception on April 8. The slideshow will be shown again during the intermission at the DAC’s June 25 talent competition, "Darien’s Got Talent."
