'Darien Dash' Takes Teams On A Town-Wide Scavenger Hunt

DARIEN, Conn. -- Wednesday is the last day for teams to sign up for the Darien Dash scavenger hunt hosted by the Darien Youth Commission.

Only 20 cars will be admitted to the town-wide scavenger hunt on March 11, when participants score points by answering town-related riddles and visiting local merchants based on the clues.

The event from 1 to 3 p.m. begins with check-in at 12:30 p.m. at the Town Hall gym and ends at the Depot Youth Center on Heights Road where points will be tallied.

There will be prizes. Participation is for all ages but a vehicle and driver is required. Team numbers are limited to the number of seatbelts in the vehicle.
