To the editor:
We have known Kathy Larkins as a neighbor, friend and co-volunteer since she and her family moved to Darien 15 years ago and are supporting her as tax collector of Darien in the Nov. 5. election.
In all that we have seen Kathy involved in, she is both the consummate professional and warm-hearted community service member. She combines her deep financial and accounting knowledge with her strong administrative and interpersonal skills to provide the necessary leadership on whatever she takes on. She always strives to be fair, honest and thoughtful.
We have been in the tax office on numerous occasions and have seen Kathy interact with taxpayers in the same professional, courteous and respectful manner. In closing we urge you to join us in support of Kathy Larkins for the position of tax collector.
