“This is a fabulous event that supports the Library – the heart of Darien,” Kerrie Kelley co-chair of the planning committee said in a statement. “Here’s a chance to be with your friends, enjoy music, entertainment, food and drink, all the while doing good for a great organization that means so much to the community.”
Doug Allen will provide the music, Nielsen’s the flowers, entertainment by Bindlestiff Family Cirkus, and Simply Creative Catering will provide hors d’oeuvres to go with beverages.
“You can be sure of two things at this year’s Gala,” Kristin Calve, fellow co-chair said in a statement. “You’ll have fun, and you’ll leave knowing you’ve helped the Library. We’re going to have some attractive silent and live auction items, and all the proceeds go directly to the Library’s collections, services, programs and resources.”
