Darien High School junior Jake Heyde and his brother Zach filmed their grandfather Ben as he played "Call of Duty" and "Halo 4" with Jake. The 2 1/2-minute video shows Ben excitedly laughing, squirming and squealing as he tries to best his grandson in the games.

"I decided to post it because I thought my family and friends would enjoy seeing him react the way he did," Jake said. "I had no intentions or even thoughts that the video could go viral."

Jake said his grandfather plays video games very once in a while and, "while he is not the greatest, he is showing a lot of improvement. My grandpa is extremely open-minded when it comes to technology, so he loves video games and every new gadget."

After recording the video a couple weeks ago, they posted it on Jan. 28. It received 500,000 views within a couple of days, and was featured on "Inside Edition."

"My grandpa and I can still not believe how popular it has gotten. We just hit a million views and we both think it is incredible."

Jake said that he wants to thank all of the viewers for their support and comments. "While I do not have any immediate plans for another video, you never know what might happen."
