Darien Vets, Students Collect Wreaths Across America Sponsorships

DARIEN, Conn. -- Once again last weekend, veterans, Monuments and Ceremonies Commission members and Darien High School Support Our Soldiers (SOS) students braved the cold outside of Goodwives Stop and Shop to collect wreath sponsorships for Darien’s Spring Grove Veterans’ Cemetery Wreaths Across America ceremony and wreath laying scheduled for noon on Saturday, Dec. 17.

At that time, the public is invited to attend and help in the placement of the wreaths.

Wreath sponsorships at $15 per wreath can be purchased one final time on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 9 a.m. to noon at this same location, or ordered online at: www.WreathsAcrossAmerica.org with the required location designation CT0007; Group CTSGVD for Darien’s Spring Grove Veterans’ Cemetery.
