Darien merchants are exhibiting along the Post Road and at the Goodwives and Noroton Heights Shopping Centers. Many bargains, with discounts of up to 70 percent, are being offered. On Saturday, Day Street will closed to vehicular traffic to permit more people to stroll, and to enjoy the shade and hanging flower baskets, as well as the inflatable children’s entertainment.
Face Painters from the DEPOT at First County Bank, and Face Painter Ela, of the Darien Toy Box, are also on hand. A free cup of Deadly Grounds Coffee was offered at The Dock Shop. Bridgeport Bluefish mascot B.B. and the Sound Tigers mascot Storm were in the downtown area along with an inflatable Bouncy House. Other attractions include Amazing Andy on stilts with his juggling act in different locations throughout town
