Darien Scouts Attend Webelos Activity Badge College

STAMFORD, Conn. -- More than 250 Boy Scouts descended on the Rogers International School in Stamford last month to earn badges through the Powahay District's Webelos Activity Badge College.

The event drew Webelos from Darien, Norwalk, Wilton, Stamford, New Canaan, Westport, Prospect, Shelton, Trumbull, Stratford, Fairfield, Monroe, Orange and Scarsdale.

The boys worked on badges for communicator, forester, readyman, scientist, engineer, geologist, scholar and traveler.

The gathering was hosted by Boy Scout Troop 19 Norwalk.
