Its that time of the year again! For its 13th year, the Darien Farmers Market will run every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting May 12 and running through Christmas. The market will be held in the municipal parking lot off of Mechanic Street, behind the firehouse on Boston Post Road and will run rain or shine.
All are encouraged to attend the market which will include fresh fruits and vegetables all grown in Connecticut, fresh cut herbs and flowers, baked goods and many other fresh products. Vendors from Gazy Brothers Farm in Oxford, Goat Boy Soaps in New Milford, Greenscapes of Danbury, Newgate Farms from East Granby, Greyledge Farm in Roxbury, Plaskos Farm of Trumbull, Riverbank Certified Organic Farm of Roxbury Smiths Acres in Niantic, Woodland Farm of South Glastonbury, and Whistle Stop Bakery of Ridgefield will all be on hand.
