Rowayton Ushers In Christmas Season With Tree Lighting, Santa Visit

ROWAYTON, Conn. — The Rowayton Civic Association held its annual Light Up Rowayton event Sunday afternoon in Pinkney Park and on the streets of the village.

Brien McMahon High School's award-winning Holiday Chamber Choir performed. Santa Claus arrived at about dusk, when the Christmas trees were lit to brighten the night.

The event also included an open house at the Rowayton Historical Society, a train display at Pinkney House, and the RHS Holiday Bazaar in Pinkney Park.
