The production of the 1979 classic by Ernest Thompson is the first of many events planned to mark the 40th anniversary of the Darien Arts Center in 2015.

Sinacori has lived in Stamford for more than 35 years and has spent more than 15 years performing on stage. By day she works at her interior design business, which she has run since 1999 and merchandises her antique business at Hampton Antique Galleries on Canal Street.

Sinacori is no stranger to community theater, participating in many theater groups in Westchester, Rockland and Fairfield counties over the years. She has also performed in three New York City play festivals as well as in three independent films.

Starting out as a dancer in Curtain Call’s "Mame," Sinacori went on to play Mrs. Harcourt in "Anything Goes," and, after focusing more on drama, portrayed Linda Loman in the 2012 production of "Death of a Salesman."

In "On Golden Pond," Sinacori plays Ethel Thayer, wife to Norman. This is the third time she has played the spouse of actor Will Jeffries.

Jeffries is a veteran actor, having appeared in many films, multiple television series and on stage, including Off-Broadway as John F. Kennedy in "Kennedy at Colonus." The two have known each other for almost a decade. After some years travelling in the same circles but not having much interaction, fate seemed to eventually pull Jeffries and Sinacori together as man and wife in Curtain Call’s production of "Death of a Salesman," and then again in "All My Sons" at the Ridgefield Theatre Barn.

Sinacori’s other credits include Julia Gibbs in "Our Town," Beverly in "The Shadow Box," M’Lynn in "Steel Magnolias," Charlotte in "Beyond Therapy," and Mildred Wild in "The Secret Affairs of Mildred Wild."

The cast of "On Golden Pond" includes David Jackins as Charlie Martin, the local postman, Sinacori as Ethel Thayer, DAC Kids’ Theatre teacher and veteran actress Kitty Robertson as Chelsea Thayer Wayne, Jeffries as Norman Thayer, MacKay Mumford as Billy Ray, and Eric Dino as Bill Ray, Sr.

Performances are on March 13, 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22 in the DAC Weatherstone Studio. Friday and Saturday shows are at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at darienarts.org or by calling the DAC box office at 203-655-5414. The DAC is at 2 Renshaw Road, behind the Darien Town Hall.
