Juliette Dixon, Thomas Hall and Finley Wetmore  have trained with senseis Bonnie and James Gombos for the past seven years and fulfilled the physical requirements, in addition to acquiring a good understanding of what it means to be a black belt: mental discipline, respect, determination and patience.

The martial arts program has more than 75 students and also hosts an annual Martial Arts Tournament in March attended by more than 100 participants from multiple schools.
