FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- A Frost Advisory has been issued for Northern Fairfield County from 2 to 8 a.m. Wednesday, the National Weather Service warned.
Low temperatures will be in the mid-30s overnight with areas of frost possible, the weather service said.
Sensitive plants and vegetation could be damaged by the chilly temperatures. Plants should be covered or brought indoors.
The high temperature Wednesday will be about 70 degrees under sunny skies, with sunny and warm days predicted for the rest of the week.
The first day of fall is Sunday.
