Car Crash Closes Beachside Avenue In Westport

WESTPORT, Conn. — Beachside Avenue in Westport will be closed from Sasco Creek Road to New Creek Road for several hours Friday morning due to a motor vehicle accident, police said.

A car hit a pole in the area of 129 Beachside Ave., and wires are down in the area, according to Westport Now.

Police said it would take several hours to clear the scene from the crash before 9 a.m., disrupting beach and home access in that area of town.
