The library is partnering with Danbury Hackerspace in joining the worldwide mission to introduce 100 million students to computer science. Children ages 5 and up may participate in one-hour workshops designed to stimulate their imagination.
Workshops are free and no registration is necessary.
Some of the workshops include computer programming for kids, puzzle games that use programmed mechanics, hands-on instruction on Arduino, app development and 3-D printing.
Times for the workshops vary. For more information, visit the library's website at http://www.danburylibrary.org, email DanburyHackerspace@gmail.com or call Aurelio Muraca at (203) 797-1607.
