A total of 57 spots will be changed over to metered three-hour parking. The 47 permit holders who have the longest tenure will be reassigned to spots on Squab Lane, close to the Metro-North train tracks, the Darien News reported.

The move was made in an effort to improve land use for businesses in the area that need more parking spots, the Darien News said.
