Stamford and Darien Police on Friday arrested a Stamford man on child pornography charges. Darien police said they found various items of child pornography in the suspect's home.
John J. Liska, 53, of 26 Whitmore Lane, in Stamford, was charged with possession of child pornography, promoting a minor in an obscene performance and obscenity.
The warrant and arrest stems from a joint investigation between the two departments under the direction of Assistant State's Attorney Richard Colangelo. Officer Daniel Noto of the Darien Police Department who has specialized training as part of Connecticuts Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, led the investigation.
Liska posted a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Oct. 25.
