Original story: NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- New Canaan Branch Service on Metro-North is currently suspended Thursday afternoon due to a downed tree in the vicinity of the Talmadge Hill station.

Substitute Bus Service will be provided for the 2:58 p.m. train departing Stamford making all stops to New Canaan. 

Riders should listen for announcements at the stations for service changes.
