Pieces Of Glass Found In Baby Food Sparks Recall By Beech Nut

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Beech Nut Nutrition is recalling nearly 2,000 pounds of baby food that may have been contaminated with small pieces of glass.

The recalled product is 4-ounce jars of “Stage 2 Beech-Nut Classics sweet potato & chicken.” The food has an expiration date of December 2016 and includes product numbers 12395750815 through 12395750821.

The company has received a report of an oral injury caused by eating the product.
