Polls Are Open: Cast Your Ballot

Allied Movers employees Sean Foster and Ron Roman and Darien town employee Bob Riith braved the cold Monday morning to set up the polling stations for today's election. RTM District 2, state Senate District 27: Darien Town Hall, 2 Renshaw Road

RTM District 3, state Senate District 25: Holmes Elementary, 18 Hoyt St.

RTM District 4, state Senate District 27: Hindley Elementary, 10 Nearwater Lane

RTM District 5, state Senate District 25: Darien High School, 80 High School Lane

RTM District 6, state Senate District 25: Tokeneke Elementary, 7 Old Farm Road

• The race for governor and lieutenant governor is among Republicans Tom Foley and Mark Boughton, Democrats Dan Malloy and Nancy Wyman, and Independents Thomas E. Marsh and Cicero B. Booker Jr.

• For of U.S. senator, Connecticut voters will choose from among Republican Linda McMahon, Democrat Richard Blumenthal, Connecticut for Lieberman candidate John Mertens and Independent Warren Mosler.

• Voters in the Fourth Congressional District will choose from between incumbent Democrat Jim Himes or Republican challenger Dan Debicella.

• The race in the 25th Senate District is between incumbent Democrat Bob Duff and Republican challenger Artie Kassimis.

• In the 27th Senate District, the race is between incumbent Democrat Andrew McDonald and Republican challenger Bob Kollenberg.

• Republican Terrie Wood is running unopposed for state representative in House District 141.

• The race for secretary of the state is among Republican Jerry Farrell Jr., Democrat Denise Merrill, Green Party candidate S. Michael DeRosa, Libertarian Ken Mosher and Independent Michael J. Telesca.

• The race for state treasurer is among Republican Jeff Wright, incumbent Democrat Denise Nappier, Green Party candidate S. David Blue and Independent Andrew Grant White.

• Voters will choose between Republican Michael Murray and petitioning candidate Christopher McClancy for probate judge for the combined Darien New-Canaan Probate Court.

• Republican Donald Paul Smith and Democrat Thomas Dunn are each running unopposed for their parties' registrar of voters.

• Republicans Susan Perticone and Clara Sartori, as well as Democrat James Plutte, are running unopposed for re-election to the Board of Education.
