CL&P Repairs Power Outages In New Canaan

Update: FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Connecticut Light & Power reports the outages have been repaired.

Original story: FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- With heavy rain and strong winds reported Tuesday across Fairfield County, a number of power outages were reported. 

According to Connecticut Light & Power, the following power outages were reported at about 11:10 p.m. Tuesday: 

  • New Canaan: 10 customers 
  • Redding: 57 customers 

Power outages previously reported in Danbury, Greenwich, Stamford and Weston have been repaired, CL&P said.
