Sofia Gomes , 21, of Danbury, was arrested for a second time last Tuesday on charges of stalking her former social worker. According to police, Gomes was again following the same social worker home from her Danbury office. On Tuesday night, the social worker noticed Gomes following her, and drove straight to the police station to file a complaint. Police contacted Gomes and met her at Holmes Elementary School, where she was arrested on charges of second-degree stalking. She did not post her $50,000 bond and appeared in court the next day.

A burglary was reported at Uncle's Deli on the Post Road early last Friday. A bread deliveryman called police at 3:50 a.m. to report a window had been broken with a rock. Police believed the smashed window was staged and said an employee likely committed the burglary. Both doors were locked, there were no other signs of forced entry and the hole in the window was not large enough to crawl through. Police said several employees have keys to the building and the alarm codes. A total of $6,000 in cash was reported missing. Police said the burglary was under investigation.
Dominick Sciarretta , 23, of Norwalk, was arrested last Monday on a warrant stemming from an Oct. 25 residential burglary. Sciarretta was held at Bridgeport Correctional Center. After posting bond, he there taken to Darien, where he was arrested on charges of third-degree burglary and second-degree larceny. He posted his $25,000 bond and has a court date of Nov. 18.
