DARIEN, Conn. A door was vandalized on Sedgwick Avenue and the owners were left with a threatening message Sunday night.
At 8:30 p.m., a resident was in the kitchen and heard a loud bang and then another louder bang. Someone had thrown a rock at the front door and shattered one of the glass panes.
Written on the door was the message, "This is just the beginning." The message was in black crayon. The door is estimated to be worth $850.

Cash was taken out of a wallet on the morning of Friday, Oct. 21. A woman working at Bourgeon Capital Management at 777 Post Road lost her wallet between 11 a.m. and noon. An unknown woman returned it later, saying she had found it in the women's bathroom. When the owner checked the wallet, she found that $500 had been taken.
A Darien man reported Saturday that his Cadillac had been keyed between Monday, Oct. 24, and Friday, Oct. 28. He told he had parked his car in his driveway and in the Noroton Heights train station parking lot. He noticed Friday that someone had left a car-length scratch on both sides of the car during that time frame.
