Weston Man Arrested After Tailgating Darien Cop

DARIEN, Conn. – Christian Russell, 25, of Weston was arrested after following a police car a little too closely early Thursday morning. An officer was traveling on Hoyt Street at 1:27 a.m. when he saw Russell's 2005 Audi TT approaching very rapidly in his rearview mirror. The officer pulled over to let Russell pass, and clocked him going 47 mph in a 30 mph zone. He stopped Russell and immediately detected the strong odors of marijuana and alcohol.
