FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- A wind advisory that includes Fairfield County has been issued by the National Weather Service from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Winds will be out of the northwest at 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph, according to the weather service.
Some trees and branches may fall onto power lines, causing scattered power outages. The winds will make driving difficult on bridges and elevated roads, the weather service warns.
The forecast for Sunday calls for sunny skies with a high of about 48 degrees.
