DARIEN, Conn. - Ann Chase Lane Marshman, a 59-year resident of Darien, died Nov. 21. She was 87.
Marshman was born Sept. 21, 1927, in New Haven, to F. Thatcher Lane and Vinetta Pauline Chase Lane. She was educated at the Foote School, Milton Academy, and Vassar College, class of 1949.
Marshman is survived by her husband, Donald M. Marshman; children, David (Sue) of Venice, Fla., John (Ann) of Westport, Frances of Somerville, Mass., and George (Sidney) of Darien; five grandchildren; and three nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Sally Thatcher Lane Braman.
There will be a private burial service Friday, Nov. 28. A reception at noon will be held at the Wee Burn Country Club.
