STAMFORD, Conn. - Anne B. Vickers, a resident of Stamford and a former longtime Darien resident, died Thursday, Aug. 1. She was 91.
Vickers was born March 31, 1922, in Montclair, N.J., daughter of John and Martha Beal. She was a legal secretary to general council at AMAX. She also volunteered at the Darien Library. She was a member of Noroton Presbyterian Church since 1957 and also served as a deacon.
Vickers is survived by her husband, Charles J. Vickers; sons, Richard B. Paddock of Jacksonville, Fla., and David Paddock of Oakton, Va.; and five grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; and two brothers.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7 at the Noroton Presbyterian Chapel, 2011 Post Road, Darien. Interment will be private.
