NORWALK, Conn. - Dorothy Shepard Clements, 88, of Norwalk, formerly of Darien, died Aug. 22 at Atria Darien Senior Living.
She was born Nov. 27, 1925, in Omaha, Neb., to Wallace E. and Dorothy J. Shepard. She graduated from the Ethel Walker School and Finch College. She was a volunteer at the Stamford Hospital, Person-To-Person, and the Stephen Ministry at St. Luke's Parish in Darien.
She is survived by her three children, James G. Clements of Bridgeport, Nancy J. Clements of New York, N.Y., and Francine C. Hulbert of New Canaan; three grandchildren, Carolyn H. Hulbert of New York, Benjamin J. Clements of Darien, and Christopher W. Hulbert of Norwalk; and great-grandchild, Alena R. Clements.
She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, James R. Clements, on April 11, 2010.
There will be a service in celebration of her life on Sept. 13 at 11 a.m. at St. Luke's Parish, Darien. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Parish.
