Slinsky was born Feb. 8, 1941, in Greenwich, to James and Nellie Arnott. She graduated from Stamford High School Class of 1958. She worked at Stamford Hospital for 21 years as an image service librarian. She was a former owner of Stamford Auto Mart and A Tin Lizzy Car Rentals. She was a parishioner at St. John R.C. Church in Darien.
Slinsky is survived by her husband, William J. Slinsky, Sr.; son, Richard Slinsky (Kathy), of Darien; daughter-in-law, Lisa Slinsky of Waterbury; two grandsons; two great granddaughters; sister, Patricia Haas of California; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; son, William J. Slinsky, Jr.; two brothers; and three sisters.
Calling hours are Sunday, Nov. 16 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17 at St. John R.C. Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien.
