Jackson Scott Conroy, 21, Rowayton Native And Brien McMahon Grad

DARIEN Conn. -- Jackson Scott Conroy, 21, of Darien died on Wednesday, April 1. He was a native of Rowayton and graduated from Brien McMahon High School in 2011.

Born Sept. 2, 1993, Conroy was the son of Barbara Bates Conroy and Kevin Conroy. He was the brother to Wilson, Henry, Harry and Grace.

He had a huge heart, loved his brothers and sister, and was close to his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, many of whom lived in the area. He was a great athlete, loved the outdoors, lacrosse, surfing, fishing, snowboarding and boating. His friends were many, including his closest from Rowayton, where Jack grew up. 

A memorial service will be on Saturday, April 4, at 11 a.m. at Noroton Presbyterian Church, 2011 Post Road, Darien. A private family interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in New Canaan at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shatterproof, a nonprofit whose mission is to help end addiction. Shatterproof's mission is to protect children from addiction to alcohol or other drugs and end the stigma and suffering of those affected by this disease.
