A New England Patriots fan, Velasco-Navarro loved sports and played lacrosse, football, and rugby while attending Darien High School.
He loved traveling and seeing the world to experience new cultures and food, and he especially loved sushi.
He also enjoyed spending quality time and sharing a good laugh with loved ones.
Velasco-Navarro is survived by his father, Ryan Velasco and his wife Amy Velasco; his mother Alexis Vega and her husband Juan Vega; siblings John Vega, Isabella Vega and Myles Velasco; and other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Baldrick's Foundation in Velasco-Navarro's honor.
