Leonard A. Pace, Jr., 71, Lifelong Darien Resident

DARIEN, Conn. - Leonard "Lenny" A. Pace, Jr. a life-long resident of Darien, died Thursday, Dec. 12. He was 71.

Pace was born March 30, 1942, in Norwalk; son of Leonard Angelo Pace, Sr. and Rose Marie Riolo Pace. He was an employee of the Town of Darien for 30 years. He was a parishioner of St. John R.C. Church.

Pace is survived by his wife, Margaret Duffy Pace of Darien; children, David Pace of Dracut, Mass., Barbara Slavinsky (Paul) of Stamford and Melanie Pace of Darien; a granddaughter; and brother, Angelo Pace of Darien. He was predeceased by his parents.

Calling hours are Monday, Dec. 16 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road, Darien. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17 at St. John R. C. Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien.
