Doscher was born May 23, 1919, in Bridgeport, daughter of Charles and Katherine Skoglund. She graduated from Stamford High School in 1937 and attended the former Shorts Secretarial School on Bedford Street in Stamford. She was employed as an executive secretary at Fawcett Publications in Greenwich. She was a long-time member of a sewing group at the Darien Senior Center. She also was a member of St. Thomas More Church in Darien.
Doscher is survived by a daughter, Lynn Doscher-Vreeland of Brewster, Mass.; son, Robert Doscher (Lori) of New Fairfield; two grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Marilyn Tropsa of Orleans, Mass. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, Eugene B. Doscher.
Interment was in Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
