DARIEN, Conn. - Mary Fernino of Darien died Nov. 9. She was 100.
Fernino was born Nov. 3, 1914, in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was a 40 year Darien resident. She was a member of St John Church in Darien and volunteered with the Red Cross chapter stationed in Darien as well.
Fernino is survived by her daughter, Mary Jayne Wilson (Edward); two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Fernino; parents; and siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12 at St. John RC Church in Darien. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien.
