KILLINGWORTH, Conn. - Richard T. Ross of Killingworth and a former longtime resident of Darien, died Thursday, Sept. 11. He was 57.
Ross was born Jan. 7, 1957, in Stamford, to Andrée (Somers) and Thomas J. Ross, Jr. He graduated from St. Leo's College in Florida and received a certificate in horticulture from the New York Botanical Garden. He was a longtime self-employed landscape designer.
Ross is survived by his wife, Kyung Janam; son, Charles Ross; daughter, Jennifer Ross; sisters, Stephanie R. Williams and Joan R. Urrata; and brothers, Thomas J. Ross, III, Andrew S. Ross and Peter L. Ross. He was predeceased by his parents; and sister, Andrée R. Kiely.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15 at St. John R.C. Church, 1986 Post Road, Darien with a burial to follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien.
