DARIEN, Conn. Salvatore Forlenzo IV, a former Darien resident, died June 15 at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise, Idaho. He was 50.
Born Sept. 2, 1961, in Stamford, he was the son of Nora H. Forlenzo of Darien and Salvatore Forlenzo III. Forlenzo graduated from Darien High School in 1979 and the University of Connecticut in 1983.
He worked in sales for Direct TV. Most recently a resident of Boise, Forlenzo was a fan of the Boise State Broncos, New York Yankees, rugby and biking. He also enjoyed traveling.
Forlenzo is survived by a brother, Daniel Forlenzo, of Norwalk; a sister, Noreen Forlenzo, of Darien; a sister-in-law, Dianne Volpe Forlenzo; and a nephew. He was predeceased by his father and a brother, Mark P. Forlenzo.
Calling hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Edward Lawrence Funeral Home in Darien. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John's Church in Darien. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Darien.
