She was born in Chappaqua, N.Y. Feb. 10, 1930. Volpicelli graduated from Horace Mann School and received a bachelor's degree from Syracuse University.
She was married to Louis Joseph Volpicelli Oct. 30, 1953. Volpicelli had a career in television and advertising, working for J. Walter Thompson as a talent agent and supplementing her income as a hand model for Kraft Foods. With the birth of her only child Elizabeth, she became a full-time wife and mother which she believed was her greatest achievement.
She was survived by her husband, Louis; her loving daughter, Elizabeth; her son-in-law, Robert Prazmark; and her four grandchildren. A service will be held between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday at the Gallagher Funeral Home in Greenwich. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked contributions be made to local ASPCA.
