He was born on Oct. 11, 1942, in Albany, N.Y. to Stanley and Sophie Rajczewski.
He played football for and graduated from Fairfield Prep before joining the Army. After an honorable discharge, he returned to work at Pitney Bowes. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a general contractor, and owned and operated Tools, Inc.
He is survived by his wife Donna; daughters, Lee Richardson of Burlington and Dana Turton of Richmond; and granddaughters Ellie and Sloane; his sister, Claudia and brother, Stanley Jr.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 2 at 3 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of Darien, 14 Brookside Road, Darien.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a veterans' charity of your choice or to the First Congregational Church of Darien, 14 Brookside Road, Darien, CT 06820.
