To the editor:
Local transportation is a pressing issue for Darien.
Dan Debicella, candidate for Congress for the 4th District and a lifelong Fairfield County resident, will prioritize this issue in Washington.
Once elected, he will request to join the Transportation Committee, and will strive to implement bipartisan, cost effective solutions.
Improvements would include lengthening the entrance and exit ramps on the Merritt and I-95.
He will emphasize federal and state partnerships to correct problems related to Metro North, focused on maintaining and improving the existing infrastructure.
Join me in voting for Dan Debicella on either the Republican or Independent line in November.
