Dear Editor:

When it comes to our children’s education politics and political parties should not be involved. What is best for our children and their futures’ come first. That is why I am endorsing Shannon Silsby for the Darien Board of Education.

I have known Shannon for many years, and in that time, she has always been involved in her children’s schools, helping them to better educate the children of this town.

I am confident that Shannon will work hard as a member of our board and that she will be fair and impartial. She will not hesitate to speak her mind and stand up for what she believes is right for our schools, even if it goes against the majority.

At this crucial time in Darien, Shannon Silsby is exactly the kind of person we need working for our town and our children. Join me on Nov. 5.
