To the editor:

I’ve known Susan Marks for more than 20 years, admired her leadership in numerous community volunteer positions during this time and applauded her when she joined the Board of Selectmen two years ago.

Of her many contributions, the most noteworthy may be her unique ability to connect with people. Her positive energy encourages residents to get involved, discuss and engage in town issues.

She is the kind of leader who others like working with toward a common goal – something that I think is important on a board, and in our small town.

Please join me on Nov. 3 in re-electing Susan Marks for Selectman and Jayme Stevenson for First Selectman, and in voting for Kip Koons for Selectman.
