To the Editor:
As a longtime supporter of education in Darien, I have watched issues unfold this past year for the Board of Education.
Forward momentum needs new members who understand the budget process and complicated education issues – experience that comes through working on the RTM.
BofE candidates Tony Imbimbo and Michael Burke possess this, and additionally know first hand how their own children have experienced our public schools. I have observed that Burke is thoughtful, intelligent and fact based. Imbimbo is equally thoughtful, intelligent and an active voice for reason and good decisions. We need these two men.
